Return from Xara

Xara was awesome! It was very much like a mini Burning Man....surreal and fun, promoting introspection and interaction (and naked people). I'm still thinking about some of the things that happened out there so I'll post more about it later with pictures from the party, but for now here's something that I drew over the weekend very much inspired by my mood. I'm starting to feel comfortable with my pens again which really pleases me, NO ERASER USED! Erasers are for people that believe in artistic mistakes .o_O. That reminds me...sometimes when I'm drawing on paper and I mess up *ahem* I automatically think "ok, Ctrl+Z.......DOH!" forgetting that my tool set is not digital.

She will be colored shortly.

Hm.. and here I always thought that introspection + interaction = naked people... ;)

Glad to hear you had a good time. Did Carl have a good set?

I'm certainly enjoying your artistic inspiration these days, keep sharing!

Carl's set was awesome, though there weren't as many people as we expected. The place he played had such an awesome sound system, great DJ's, and decorations, but sadly was tucked away in a corner that wasn't easy to come across. Everyone there rocked out pretty hard though, even Carl came down on the dance floor to bust a move. We were mostly just looking forward to hearing his tracks and our other friend's music on such a great sound system. So overall we were very happy!

Oh and thank you for the encouraging words! I'm tired of leaving all my work in it's own little world for just me to see.
